Spontaneous Lunch .

Hey hey hey. I know guys I've not been blogging for a decent while but I do keep these details.
What I have here are pictures of what I had for lunch and it was simply doable for a set lunch meal. The portion was enormously big for me and it wasn't charged for an extravagant price.


 This place is called Tous les Jours and its actually a pastry shop where they do serve savory meals. Its a homely place where you could have a nice tea break with your friends as well as your work mates. Well the concept is totally not the Starbuck theme and their whole interior of their outlet has a well blended colors of brown.  


We had two set lunches and it cost Rm19.80 for a proper set meal lunch. Well the drink seem simple however it was refreshing. I had an ice lemonade and surprisingly it wasn't equally sweet. It was a mixture of mint leaves with lime and lemon well of course we wouldn't exclude the lemonade.  


I had a linguine spaghetti and I couldn't really remember what's the original name for this but yeah. How would I grade the dish , well it taste like aglio olio and it was definitely aglio olio. How pathetic they should name it that way. It wasn't too bad but I expected more.

In contrast my exquisitely annoying cousin had a bolognese. Well like how its original recipe should be , its cheesy and creamy, well blended and  satisfying.

Honestly I've not been eating out with my friends and it costs me a fortune to have a meal at these hipster cafes. So yeah I'll try to update more for the foodie lovers out there.

Me and my beffles had a casual lunch on my B'day which was the New Year's Eve as well.The spaghetti dishes were fantastically amazing and it was gourmet filling.  Price RM19.90  for lunch. Place: Damansara Utama

It will never be complete without your best food buddy to join your for lunch. This cafe was pretty congested and we had to wait for about 15 mins well that was because we had our brunch during lunch hour. Well it would be less congested after the lunch hour but oh well it was worth to wait for.

We ordered pancake for our dessert and for our main meal I had Big Breakfast ( The bottom of the picture) whereas my beffie had Salmon Marlborough aka. Eggs Benedict. (top left). The price wasn't too over costly or under cost . Service charge is included

This dessert was pretty queer to me I mean this doesn't look like an ice cream to me. This is Apple Crumble Bingsu. It is originated from the Korean Culture.  First of all the portion is pretty big and you seriously need a friend to share this. Unless you can finish them all on your own ,yeah that will be cool thumbs up for that. ;)  대박

This cafe was  sadly a disappointment and the price was over-costly. The Beef stew was great though and the entire surrounding was pretty hipster.

This place was pretty cool and its theme was mainly based on childhood memories. Everything was facilitated with elementary school tables, bags , childhood lunch boxes and exercise books. It feels nostalgic as I'm getting older every year as well as you too and this cafe just entices us to reminisce our childhood memories. I had egg waffles and it was pretty good. Overall the dessert was good and the price was reasonable.

JAM & KAyA CAF3 ?

Are you craving for pancakes?  

  If you are do drop by at  Jam & Kaya Cafe.  This cafe is mainly available at Malaysia. 

Where?
  
Well this cafe is situated at PJ   PALMS SPORT CENTER and where is it exactly? It is just a few blocks away from the A&W Restaurant , mainly at PJ.  If you live around this neighborhood  you will definitely where is this place.


If you're wondering about the availability of the parking space, Well  good luck with that because  it took me and my bestie about 30 mins to find a slot for the car. I guess its all about the right time and the right moment where you encounter a slot for you to park your car.

Introducing?

This will be their signature dessert "Jam & Kaya Pancakes".

The  pancake does not have any kaya fillings but you will find that it has a little of kaya  flavor. The dish was filled with nicely cut strawberries and a little of blueberries and raspberries. They blended in with honey syrup and a scoop of vanilla flavored ice cream as the topping. Well its pretty filling for me and if you're a small eater you might need to share the pancakes with a friend. Oh jeez if you're hungray just eat all of them its just once in a blue moon.

I had it for branch well don't judge. I guess my day was pretty spontaneous because I had a sudden crave for desserts.  

It cost Rm13+ not too cheap or too pricey. Its just normal. 

Your question would be WHAT IS KAYA?

KAYA is a fruit curd made from a base of sugar, eggs and coconut milk. It is food spread and it is wildly popular in Southeast Asia.

Drinking water is immediately served with a glass bottle and its free of charge.

There is no additional tax as it is  tax free omg Thanks a lot.

The Fresh Banana pancake cost about Rm15+ and the flavor is exactly like the "Jam & KAYA Pancake" but its less sweeter. 

Opening hours Tuesday to Friday: 10am‐7pm

              Saturday & Sunday: 9am‐6pm

Overall I find that the choice of venue has its advantages and disadvantages. The public transport is nearby which is the LRT and if you do take the public transport ,do stop at TAMAN JAYA station.

I guess they're wise enough to place their cafe by the swimming pool and gym centers. Well you do realize that most of the hipster cafes are mostly located at secluded areas or neighborhood ares. Partially its due to social media's exposure as I gives a wider exposure .
